2017-2018 Concert Season

You Asked for It!

In the winter of 2017, the musicians engaged audiences to submit their repertoire requests with the purpose of programming those requests for 2017-18. We were simply overwhelmed with the response. Now titled "You Asked for It," the 2017-18 season will be entirely based on audience suggestions. Our patrons will hear masterpieces and rarely performed works from Beethoven, Schubert and Grieg to Schoenberg, Bartok and Gubaidulina.

We are happy to present to you this season's distinguished artists.

Grammy nominated pianist, Susan Grace will join us again this year. Dvořák's timeless Piano Quintet No. 2, Op. 81, in A Major is scheduled in September.

Collin McAllister, internationally renowned guitarist and recording artist, is back by popular demand to play "outside of the box" and very fun work for classical guitar and string quartet titled Bay of Pigs by Michael Daugherty.

Lastly, marvelous mezzo-soprano Sarah Barber is going to lead in a rarely performed jewel of chamber music repertoire, Dover Beach Op. 3, for Voice & String Quartet by Samuel Barber.
